Bohemian Soul // Alde Garden // Suffolk
This was a beauty of a shoot to have put together in our downtime!
I discovered a beautifully painted and restored gypsy wagon, (which is in permanent situ as a tiny house to stay at) then put a group of local creatives together alongside our beautiful model and it equaled the following photos below!
Inspired by Indian nomads such as the gypsy tribe of Rajasthan, who travel and sleep under the night sky. Are entertainers by lifestyle, performing dance and music to make their living. Their clothing is unique & eclectic, designed by themselves and the overall look is a combination of varied fabrics, patterns, and colours resulting in a really bold expression of fashion. Their jewellery is a mixture of new costume pieces and old vintage. Our model Sonali gathered some gorgeous Indian tikkas and jewellery reminiscent of this from her family and Sarah at Wild Daisy Vintage came with a treasure trove of pre loved clothes which when layered and put together, completely brought our gypsy inspiration to life.

We were lucky to be joined by Posy Flwrs who has been creating a floral storm in Norwich since 2022! With a degree in Graphic Design and a background working with children, Emilys desire is to produce contemporary, colourful and fun floral designs. For our shoot Emily used muted tones & designed and created a bowl arrangement in moss and a front facing presentation bouquet inspired by bohemian and non-traditional styles. Using a variety of unusual flowers and foliage to create texture and movement within the arrangements.
On Hair duties we had Styled by Sophie who has been hairdressing for over 10 years, recently Sophie decided to put her creative energy into styling hair for weddings/shoots. Undone, braids & boho styling is her thing and she just loves making people look & feel magical. For Make up we had Emma of Brunetti make up artistry. I’m always really impressed with Emma’s focus on providing quality vegan/cruelty free make up! It’s important to show that you can look and feel great whilst not being at the expense of any animal. Emma produced a natural skin and lip finish but topped with a warm Smokey eyed look on Sonali. We were really lucky to have Actress and model Sonali on board to help bring our visions to life! She really channeled this look to it’s fullest! Overall, Thank you to everyone for putting together your talented brains on this one! And a big thank you to our location Alde Garden which is a wonderful, back to nature Campsite in Suffolk. It would make a magical getaway for anyone searching for a small break!
