Brides On Tour

Girls Hit The Town // White Reflections Bridal Photography

Runaway Brides Take the City!

During the quieter months of the year, when fewer weddings are happening in real time, it’s always a fun opportunity to collaborate with other creatives and work on a mini project! This time, I photographed a shoot that was still wedding related but with a twist! three bold, fearless brides strutting around the city with serious “don’t mess with me” energy.

The concept came from Holly, who runs White Reflections Bridal in Norwich alongside her mum, Carol. She wanted to explore the idea of reusing your wedding dress. It’s one of the biggest outfit investments most people make and questioning why it only gets worn once. So, we brought that vision to life! Brides, But Make It Street Style We took to Norwich city centre, with our three stunning brides, doing everyday things, shopping, running errands, and even doing their laundry. all in wedding dresses! The reactions from passersby were priceless. With their glam hair still set in rollers, they gave off a runaway bride vibe, adding to the playful, rebellious feel of the shoot. Our models for the day—Mia, Martha & Georgina rocked Marylise Bridal designs, each bringing a different take on the modern mini wedding dress. Meriel Garland was the make up artist behind the Smokey eyes and red lips, Lisa Marie was on hand to crest the old school Hollywood rollers in hair look and Liv-vid were beside me being the dream retro visionary team capturing some beautiful footage! This shoot was all about pushing boundaries, having fun, and proving that wedding dresses deserve more than just one outing. Who says you can’t hit the town in bridal couture?
